Wrong blog posts visible

I have my blog running at http://www.danielbierstedt.de/category/blog/. I have some posts that are not for the blog, but for the sidebar for example and I want them to not show up anywhere, but I see them at http://www.danielbierstedt.de/blog/. Am I doing something wrong? Do I need something to remove “category” etc?

I’ll combine answers for both your questions here. It would make more sense.

Your blog is here: http://www.danielbierstedt.de/blog/, not there: http://www.danielbierstedt.de/category/blog/. This one is just a category of your blog which for some reason you named blog.

You’ve set your blog page from Appearance > Static Front Page. You might have set it a long time ago for a different theme - this is not specific to Moesia, it’s a WP option.

Now, regarding your other question, the large images option refers to the blog index layout, not to the archive layout which you’re seeing here: http://www.danielbierstedt.de/category/blog/.

Hopefully this clears up some things about the Wordpress hierarchy.
You can get the same effect on your archive page by using this:

.archive .hentry .entry-thumb,
.archive .hentry .post-content {
   width: 100%;
   padding: 0;
}

Thank you, I now have something to think about…

Cool.
Change the code to this please, just had a look at your website now and I realised it’s not how it’s supposed to be:

.archive .hentry .entry-thumb,
.archive .hentry .post-content {
   width: 100%;
}
.archive .hentry .entry-thumb {
   padding: 0;
}

You’re right, looks much better now. Thank you.
