Woocommerce page problems

Hi there. 2 iems:

  1. In the shop page from woocommerce, the header cannot be remove regardless of the setting in the “Template” option. This only seems to happen in the woocommerce pages.

  2. How to remove the Page’s title from the page?

TYA!!!

Julio.

Hello there,

Thank you for getting in touch here.

In the front end, the shop page doesn’t act as a regular page any more. But it actually becomes an archive page of the product post type. Any attributes attached won’t work. To remove the shop page header, try to apply the following CSS code through the Simple Custom CSS plugin or child theme’s style.css.

.woocommerce .site-header{
  background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.9);
}

.woocommerce .header-image{
  display: none;
}

Try to apply the following CSS code:

.post-type-archive-product .archive-title{
  display: none;
}

Let me know how it goes.

Wow! I had the same problem as 1) and it helped!
Well… almost.
The problem that remain is: above menu there is an empty space (height about the same as menus)

It’s appear despite the “sticky” menu is on or off.

Do you have any other trick?

Maciej

Hello Maciej,

Could you please share your site’s URL here so I can have a closer look?

I don’t know why I cannot post reply here…

ok - it’s working now

I’m working on site and I turn on maintenance mode but I can disable it for a while (till tomorrow) - see it here: http://theholydays.pl/sklep

In the meantime i solved it - in custom css i added:
’.woocommerce .site-content {
margin: 0;
}
.woocommerce .site-main {
margin-top: 120px;
}’

It helped but i don’t know if it’s the best way to fix that.

Right now i deleted this lines from custom css.

Hello there,

I’m afraid I can’t reproduce the issue on my test site.

What will happen if you try to reinstall the West theme with the fresh one?

Let me know how it goes.

Kharis

nope - still the same.

I was testing it on Safari and Firefox, and it looks exactly the same on both.

Hello there,

Try to apply the following CSS code:

.woocommerce .header-image {
  display: block;
  height: 0;
  overflow: hidden;
}

Let me know how it goes.

Kharis

It worked, but the background menu was transparent… This two more parts helped (also, after changing color, the woo commerce site nav hide under the menu so i added margin):

.woocommerce .site-header.has-header {
	background-color: black;
}

.woocommerce .woocommerce-breadcrumb {
	margin-top: 20px;
}
