Woocommerce Image

Hello!
I have been working on this and haven’t found a solution.
In WooCommerce when I adjust the image sizes for product, category, and thumbnail - it doesn’t adjust on the actual pages. It’s always giant. Ex. http://pastless.net/product/undo-the-book/
If this has been answered, please let me know where.
If it hasn’t, what should I do - I want to keep it all seamless and love Sydney Pro, but this is a big stumbling block.

Hello there,

I am wondering whether this issue also to happen even without Photon module by Jetpack. Could you please try to temporarily disable the Photon module and let me know if it does anything?

Regards,
Kharis

I have disabled Photon and it is still the same.

Hello there,

What will happen if you temporarily disable the following custom CSS?

#primary{
  clear: both;
  float: left;
  width: 100%;
}

Or try adding the following code:

.product{
   width: 900px;
   max-width: 100%;
   margin-left: auto;
   margin-right: auto;
}

Regards,
Kharis

Neither worked.
Is there someone who is able to go in and poke around, fix this from your support team?

Hello there,

I am sorry the code doesn’t work for you. Maybe I can’t get your point clearly. Could you please take a screenshot with some annotations to illustrate the final result you want to achieve? For the image file, please upload it to the free file hosting like Google Drive, Dropbox, or cloudup.com and share its public link here.

Thank you for your help on this!!!

Here is the Dropbox link. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/a0jbp8r1mzkvz64/AABSxN-Qq2GXQ_RK1O7UupQJa?dl=0

I have tried to alter sizes in Woocommerce settings to no avail. It’s thematic.

I’m only looking to change the size of that one image, it’s consistent in every page.

Thanks

Have you regenerate your new thumbnail size using Regenerate Thumbnails plugin as instructed on here.

Kharis

Yes.
It’s somewhere that I can’t find in the CSS.
No matter what I adjust, the thumbnail, category, and product image size doesn’t change - even when I use smaller images, it just distorts them.
Should I just use another theme for the shop?

Thanks
Cat

Hello there,

Please share your Woo thumbnails settings, so I can replicate it on my test site. So I can assist you in better way.

Of course, here you go!

Hello there,

I would like to apologize in advance for the delay. Please try adding the following custom CSS code:

.woocommerce .content-area ul.products li.product,
.woocommerce-page .content-area ul.products li.product {
    width: 20.05% !important;
}

@media only screen and (min-width:769px) {

  .woocommerce #content div.product div.images,
  .woocommerce div.product div.images,
  .woocommerce-page #content div.product div.images,
  .woocommerce-page div.product div.images {
      width: 32%;
  }

  .woocommerce #content div.product div.summary,
  .woocommerce div.product div.summary,
  .woocommerce-page #content div.product div.summary,
  .woocommerce-page div.product div.summary {
      width: 64%;
  }

}

Let me know how it goes.

Kharis

Look at that!
Almost perfect.
This is perfect: http://pastless.net/product/undo-the-book/

Still too large on this page: http://pastless.net/shop/

Thoughts?

Thank you so much for your help!

I have been following this thread and I have the same issue. The custom CSS listed above helped with the main shop page and with individual product images but not with category and sub-category pages. They are still to large. I am still developing my site locally and I cannot have you log in. I have approx. 400 x 800 image sizes and they are displayed at 355 x 686 px. This is to large and fills the entire screen on a mobile device. If I regenerate to my woocommerce sizes (i.e. 75 x 150 px), they will be reduced to that size but will then be scaled upward to 355 x 686 size and that makes them look blurred and poor quality. I am current on my Wordpress, Woocommerce, Plugins and Sydney Pro. Any assistance would be appreciated. FYI, I haven’t touched Wordpress for a few years so I am just getting back into this but have tried the normal troubleshooting techniques such as deactivating plugin’s, different themes, etc and it does follow the Sydney and Pro theme. I upgraded to Pro since it said the Sydney theme was not woocommerce compatible. thanks.

This page is working: https://pastless.net/shop/

Working on the others!

Hello Cat,

Please enable hard crop options. And then regenerate your thumbnail using the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin.

Let me know how it goes.
