Widget's Not Customizing with CSS Code in Sydney Child Theme

Hello,

I am trying to put a border or background on my contact form widgit called “Let’s Connect”. My website is www.yarmoloygroup.ca. I am trying to use the following code in the Advanced CSS Editor, but it is not working. Is there a setting in Sydney I need to change in order to customize my widgits? I am running a Child Theme.

#frm_show_form-2 { border: 1px solid #000000;
background: #999900;
}

Any help would be greatly appreciated because this seems liek it should be simple…

Thanks so much.

Hello there,

That code appears to be correct. Make sure you put it correctly into your child theme’s style.css. It would look like this:

/*
Theme Name: Sydney Pro Child
Theme URI: http://athemes.com/theme/sydney
Author: aThemes
Author URI: http://athemes.com
Template: sydney-pro-ii
Version: 1.0
License: GNU General Public License v2 or later
License URI: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html
Text Domain: sydney
*/

#frm_show_form-2 {
  border: 1px solid #000000;
  background: #999900;
}

As for information, to check whether your code doesn’t contain any error or no, you can validate with this tool.
