Widget design: title color and headings color default blank value

Hi there,

I’m trying to create a text widget with some custom html and titles tags, but since the “title colour” and “headings color” settings of the widget have a defaulted value I can’t define an inline style for each title to have a different color.

I tried just leaving the value of the color blank, but everytime I update the page it returns to the original value.

Is there a way to get rid of that options in the widgets settings (as well of Typography one)?

Well, you could add !important to your inline styles. Disabling the options is not something that’s easy to do.

Thanks for the reply,

I “solved” it with a styled span tag, since the “title color” option overwrites the styles of title tags.

But I can’t help feeling that this widget options make the theme customizer uneffective.

Bests regards

I guess they’re useful for most people. Obviously, in your case they do more harm then good since you’re able to write your own code.

Maybe an option to disable all the output from the widget options will be useful.
