White blocks that shouldnt be there

#1

Hi, a few of my pages have white blocks on the top and the about page has one one the bottom and top. If I add content to any pages they also end up having white blocks on top and bottom. Ive tried everything I can think of and cant seem to find the solution

Hello wowzers,

please try the following css in a child theme or simple css plugin:

.page-wrap .content-wrapper {
  background-color: transparent !important;
}

Thankyou WeAreOne, that did the trick. Greatly appreciated.Spent all night fighting with that.

BTW was modifying the css the only way to do that?

You’re welcome! Great that it helped.

You can try to use the developer tools of the browsers. In nearly every browser there should be a way to inspect the elements. Just try to find the html element which cause the whitespace with hovering over the site in the inspector mode. Then you normally should find the class which has the background-color.

If you want another way doing this in the wordpress backend I guess I have to disappoint you. The css way was the normal and easiest way to do this.

Ok, thankyou!
