West - Change menu font color in scroll mode

Hey all,

I’ve been looking all over and can’t seem to find where to change the font color for the menu, when in scroll mode. I’ve changed the menu background to black, so the menu items being black / dark gray, makes it impossible to read.
Screenshot of what it looks like right now (yes I actually have 3 menu items):

Where in the CSS code can I find the class and change this one tiny thing?

Hello there,

Use the below CSS code:

#site-navigation .menu > li > a {
  color: #ff0000;
}

#site-navigation .menu > li > a:hover {
  color: #fff000;
}

To apply it to your site, add it to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from your site dashboard.

Hi Karis, Thanks for your quick reply, but it’s not working unfortunately :frowning:
I’ve tried adding it to the “additional CSS”, this doesn’t do anything.
I’m also using a child theme so I tried adding it in the wordpress editor to my CSS file there, I still get no color changes for the link.

Please share your site URL here to help me better find the solution.

I want the main menu to look the same way it does up top, when it’s scrolled down. White font color.

Hello there,

Try adding this extra CSS code:

.header-scrolled #site-navigation .menu > li > a {
  color: #fff;
}

It works!!! Thank you so much! :smiley:
