Vertical menu position in header

Hi,
thank you for letting me use this wonderful theme!

I am working on my website that can currently be accessed via http://u1913p719.web0082.zxcs.nl

I want to move the upper menu down a bit so that it aligns better with the logo (logo remains at current position). Is there a way to do this with simple custom css?

And maybe someone also knows an answer to the following questions:

  • how can I change the color of the symbols (fa-heart and fa-medkit) in the ‘services’ section on area ‘aanpak’?
  • how can I remove the large white space just before the footer of the page?

Thanks in advance for trying to help!

Hi,

Here is the css code to make the menu downward aligned to the logo:

nav#mainnav {
    margin-top: 10px;
}

Here is to change the icon color:

.icon {
    color: #ff891e !important;
}

And here is to remove the blank space above the footer:

.page-wrap {
    padding-bottom: 0;
}
.page .page-wrap .content-wrapper {
    padding-bottom: 0;
}
.content-area .hentry {
    padding-bottom: 0;
}
.content-area .hentry .entry-footer {
    margin-top: 0;
}

You can put the code in above using simple custom css plugin.

Awan,
you are great!
everything is working as intended now
many thanks,
Ryan

Hi Awan.

rleijten posted “I want to move the upper menu down a bit so that it aligns better with the logo (logo remains at current position). Is there a way to do this with simple custom css?”. I was wondering this as well, and your code worked for the text menu. When site falls to Hamburger icon, how do you align the Hamburger (mobile menu) so that it is also centered vertically?

Not sure if I should create a separate post for this or comment to an already existing topic.
