How can I use different/new fonts (for example Google fonts) for my page texts?
- Pick your desired Google Font. For instance:
- From your site’s dashboard, go to Appearance > Customize > Fonts. Based on the screenshot as seen above, in the font name/style/sets field, enter:
- In the font family field, enter:
'Exo 2', sans-serif
Thanks, but that’s not it. I don’t want to know how to change the title fonts but the text fonts when I work on a page.
You would use the WP Google Fonts to include your desired font in your site. When you edit your page, toggle to Text mode instead of Visual. To apply custom font family, wrap your text with the following format:
<div style="font-family: 'Exo 2', sans-serif;"> Your text goes here </div>
or use SPAN for inline text.
<span style="font-family: 'Exo 2', sans-serif;">Inline text goes here</span>
Hi Kharis, thanks for your reply.
What exactly means “inline text”?
And could you also recommend a font plugin for the visual editor mode?
Inline text means particular text within paragraph. Try this plugin which might be much simpler to you.
Indeed, it is much simplier, thanks a lot, Kharis.
