Use Whole Page Without Sidebars

#1

I have my site set up to not use a sidebar, but my pages still don’t use the full width available. Is there something I can add to fix this?

Thanks!

Hello there,

The full width template has already been enabled on your home page. However the main content area background is white that’s resulting it’s surrounded with gray spaces. This might not meet your design need. Is that correct? Please explain the final look you’d like to accomplish.

Probably adding this extra custom CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS might be what you’re looking for.

    .main-content {
      background-color: #fff;
    }

That’s not the problem; I’d like to use the entire area, including the area that’s used as the background. Is that possible?

Thanks!

Hello there,

Try this custom CSS code:

    .main-content .container {
      width: 100% !important;
    }

    #primary.content-area.col-md-9 {
      padding-left: 0;
      padding-right: 0;
    }

Almost worked; there was still some background area on the righthand side.

However, I think it looks better the way it is. I appreciate the assistance!

Thanks!
