Uploading Site Logo makes site Tagline disappear!

Hi guys,

I love your theme I use it on so many client websites! I’ve uploaded a site logo but have found when I do that, my tagline disappears. Do you know how I can make both display on the page?

My site is conceptpoolsaust.ibuildwebsites.com.au

Kind regards,

Dear Elley,

The theme works like so; no issue with it. However, you can display the logo along with description by editing the header.php file in child theme mode. The first step is download the Sydney Pro child theme here and unzip it. Then replicate the header.php file from parent theme into it. Edit it with your code editor program, and find the below code block:

<div class="col-md-4 col-sm-8 col-xs-12">
    <?php if ( get_theme_mod('site_logo') ) : ?>
	<a href="<?php echo esc_url( home_url( '/' ) ); ?>" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?>"><img class="site-logo" src="<?php echo esc_url(get_theme_mod('site_logo')); ?>" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?>" /></a>
    <?php else : ?>
	<h1 class="site-title"><a href="<?php echo esc_url( home_url( '/' ) ); ?>" rel="home"><?php bloginfo( 'name' ); ?></a></h1>
	<h2 class="site-description"><?php bloginfo( 'description' ); ?></h2>
    <?php endif; ?>
</div>

Replace it with:

<div class="col-md-4 col-sm-8 col-xs-12">
  <?php if ( get_theme_mod('site_logo') ) : ?>
		<a href="<?php echo esc_url( home_url( '/' ) ); ?>" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?>"><img class="site-logo" src="<?php echo esc_url(get_theme_mod('site_logo')); ?>" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?>" /></a>
  <?php endif; ?>
	<h1 class="site-title"><a href="<?php echo esc_url( home_url( '/' ) ); ?>" rel="home"><?php bloginfo( 'name' ); ?></a></h1>
	<h2 class="site-description"><?php bloginfo( 'description' ); ?></h2>
</div>

Install and activate the child theme.
