Unable to change button width

I added the Email Subscribers & Newsletter plugin to my site and added the widget to my home page. I copied the CSS properties from the theme button and applied them to the button for the widget. However, the button is much wider than the other buttons on the screen. Is there a property I can set to control this? I’d like the Submit button to calculate width the same as the rest of the buttons.

The button I’m referring to is the Submit button half way down the page in the “Subscribe to our blog!” section at www.seedtospoon.net.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I’ve pasted the CSS I’m using now. Thanks!

div.rm_form_el_set.rm_form_el_button input.rm_form_field[type='submit'] {
    background-color: #2ca58d !important;
    color: #fffdf7 !important;
    border: 1px solid black !important;
    position: relative;
    display: table;
    margin: 30px auto 0;
    clear: both;
    font-family: "Raleway", sans-serif;
    font-size: 13px;
    line-height: 24px;
    font-weight: 700;
    padding: 12px 35px;
    text-transform: uppercase;
    -webkit-border-radius: 3px;
    -moz-border-radius: 3px;
    -o-border-radius: 3px;
    border-radius: 3px;
    -webkit-transition: all 0.3s;
    -moz-transition: all 0.3s;
    -ms-transition: all 0.3s;
    -o-transition: all 0.3s;
    transition: all 0.3s;

Hello there,

You can use the following CSS code and add it into your site’s additional CSS option under Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS.

.rm_form_el_button {
   width: 200px !important;

Adjust the value as needed.

Thank you. I tried that and it adjusted the size but now it’s left aligned. How can I center it on the page as well?

Hi Dale,

You can add auto margin left/right, so the code will look like this:

.rm_form_el_button {
   width: 200px !important;
   margin-left: auto;
   margin-right: auto;
