Trying to find de CSS selector for the menu items for Easy Google Fonts

Hi there,

I am using Sydney Pro and the Easy Google Fonts plugin.

When creating new font controls in the settings of the Easy Google Fonts plugin, I figured out I can change the fonts of the top menu items with the css selector ‘a’, the paragraphs with ‘p’, But I can not find the right css selector for the (sub)menu items.

Please note that I try to avoid custom CSS as much as possible, so I prefer to use the Easy Google Fonts pluging.

Any advice anyone?

Thanks in advance!

  1. Try to use this selector for your desktop submenu items:
    #mainnav ul.sub-menu a
    …and this selector for your mobile submenu items:
    #mainnav-mobi ul.sub-menu a

  2. You can also use this selector for your desktop parent menu items:
    #mainnav a
    (selector “a” targets all links)
    …and this selector for your mobile parent menu items:
    #mainnav-mobi a

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

It works! Thank you so so much! :slight_smile:

Now I am having the same problem with finding the right CSS code for the footer (using Sydney Pro with the Footer Credits). If you can help me out with this code I would be very gratefull!

More in general: how can I find these codes myself? I followed the instruction youtube you posted elsewhere on this forum, but when I select for example the text in the footer and inspect that element (using Chrome) I see this:

<footer id="colophon" class="site-footer" role="contentinfo">
		<div class="site-info container">
							Lorum ipsum etc					</div><!-- .site-info -->

Can I determine the right CSS code myself with this information?

Thanks in advance!

Hello, yes, you can. But you should be familiar with CSS. Try to use just the #colophon ID.
