Translate Content Crelly Slider

#1

Hello,
I have a similar problem with this one:

I need to translate(Spanish to English) the content (text) from crelly slider.
I already try to do the steps from the another forum, but didn’t work.
Can someone help me please?
Thanks in advance!

Best regards,
Ana

Hi,

Sorry for the delay. It’s a bit different for Moesia, though the same principle applies.
You need:

  • a child theme and that conditional plugin mentioned in the other thread;
  • top copy header-rev.php in that child theme;
  • replace the contents of header-rev.php with this
    Make sure you replace the names of the sliders with the ones you have, like it is shown in the other thread.

Hi Vlad,
Thanks for your answer.
The difference is that I’m not using Polylang. I’m using WPML to translate the web page, so I think that doesn’t make sense use the conditional plugin mentioned, right?

Thanks.
Best regards,
Ana

Hi,
Sorry to bother again, but it’s possible to do the same with WPML?

Thanks!

Hi,

Really sorry, for some reason I thought I answered.
No, there’s no point in using that plugin. I assume WPML might have something similar of achieving this but I’m not very familiar with it so I cannot help.

Do you have separate pages for Spanish and English? Could you show me?

Hi Vlad,
No problem.
Yes, I have separate pages for Spanish and Englsih, and the crelly slider appears in Homepage.
Here is the website:

Hi,

I’ve changed the code a bit: http://pastebin.com/Kn143Jic
It now checks for page 3003 (your Spanish page) and displays a slider and checks for page 4927 (the English one) and displays a different slider.

The steps are the same as in my previous post, just that you don’t need the conditional plugin anymore.
Adjust as needed.
