Top Slider or Image full width

Is it possible to have the slider or header image covering the full width instead of only page width?

For pc size, mobile works fine.

Have tried:

    .sydney-hero-area, .slides-container .slide-item {
        width: 100%;
    }

But the 100% doesnt go beyond page width.

Hello there,

It’s set to full width by default. Not really sure why it behaves differently to you. Do you have a link to your site to share here, so I can take a direct look?

Hello Stig,

Try adding this CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

    .header-slider .slide-item img.mobile-slide {
      width: 100%;
      height: 100%;
      object-fit: cover;
    }

What I also noticed was that the text dosnt go to center of slide, this is not really a problem as I also like it this way, just wanted to mention if that could help troubleshooting

Hello there,

Try flushing site caching (if applied) or clear your web browser’s history/cache. These two usually prevent new code addition to take effect.

Have tried that, doesnt help.

We are talking about the same thing? just to be clear, what I want is for the slide to cover full widt, not having the columns on each side as now.

thanks
