Top menu bar color

Hello, I am working on a site http://eyesontarget.co.uk
The top menu bar text color is in a light grey, whn hovered over it goes deep blue and you cannot see the text, where do a change the hover link color as I have tried all the color options in the appearance/customize/color

Additionally on the drop down menu from the main menu I would like to change the text color and background.
Can you please advise.

Hello Barry,

Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up).

#site-navigation.main-navigation a:hover {
	color: red;
}

#site-navigation.main-navigation ul ul {
	background-color: lightgreen;
}

#site-navigation.main-navigation ul ul a {
	color: black;
}

You can use a color picker to find the right color code, for example this color picker:
https://www.w3schools.com/colors/colors_picker.asp

Hi,

You can change the color of the menu hover with this Custom CSS:

.main-navigation a:hover {
    color: red !important;
}

also you can change the sub-menu color with this Custom CSS:

.main-navigation ul ul {
	background-color: blue !important;
}

.main-navigation ul ul a {
	color: red !important;
}

.main-navigation ul ul a:hover {
	color: green !important;
}

Please add the above CSS to your Child Theme’s style.css or in case you haven’t setup a Child Theme already, then you can also add the CSS to wp-admin -> Appearance -> Customizer -> Additional CSS so you won’t loose the changes after Theme or WordPress updates.

Hello
I have two issues, the first I am trying to change the hover links colour

Refer to the footer area text is white, when you hover it is dark blue, I would like to change this colour!

2nd issue refer to https://eyesontarget.co.uk/private-investigator-resources/

The “next” plus “1” & “2” are almost white colour, need to change this to a darker colour.

Can you please help
