Text sidebar article barely readable

#1

Hi,

When I open an article on my blog, the text of all widgets in the part at the right (search, most recent, archives, etc.) is barely readible i.e. kind of light grey and it looks like it is made transparent. Where can I include a screenshot ? Is there a way to change/see the CSS code ?

Hi,

Please post a link to your website ( where you have this issue ), so we can check. You can post screenshot only with a link to it, so you must upload the screenshot somewhere and post the link to it here.

spammed ?

#5

Hi,

Yes, it looked like a spam, just removed it. You can make your widget link colors to black ( from grey ) with this Custom CSS:

.widget, .widget a {
    color: #000 !important;
}

Add the above CSS to your Child Theme’s style.css or in case you haven’t setup a Child Theme already, then you can also use this plugin to add the CSS to it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/ so you will not loose the changes on theme updates.

thanks, this works; is there a different code for the title of the widget itself ?

#7

Hi,

Yes, you can use this Custom CSS to modify the widget titles and the border bottom of them ( the same color line under the title text ):

.widget-title {
    color: red !important;
    border-color: red !important;
}

Please let me know how it works.
