Text editor page width

#1

Hello,

I have tried adding custom CSS to make the container wider, but cannot seem to get it to work on site, here is a page example : https://www.mcarthuraudiology.com/hybrid-hearing-implants/

I have even used css to remove the social widgets but that doesn’t help. Here is code I found below to add to a css plugin i downloaded from one of your chat support forums. None of these things work, any help is appreciated.

Thanks

.site-content {
max-width: 100% !important;
padding: 0 !important;
}

.so-panel.container {
max-width: 100% !important;
padding-left: 0 !important;
padding-right: 0 !important;
}

Hi,

You can make the site-content full-width with this Custom CSS:

.site-content {
    width: 100% !important;
}

.content-area {
    width: 73% !important;
}

.widget-area {
    width: 25% !important;
}

@media only screen and (max-width: 991px) {
.content-area {
    width: 100% !important;
}
}

You can remove the social widget in wp-admin -> Appearance -> Widgets, but if you want to remove the sidebar completely and make the content area full-width you can do that by using this Custom CSS instead:

.site-content {
    width: 100% !important;
}

.content-area {
    width: 100% !important;
}

.widget-area {
    display: none !important;
}

@media only screen and (max-width: 991px) {
.content-area {
    width: 100% !important;
}
}

Please add the above CSS to your Child Theme’s style.css or in case you haven’t setup a Child Theme already, then you can also add the CSS to wp-admin -> Appearance -> Customizer -> Additional CSS so you won’t loose the changes after Theme or WordPress updates.

Please let me know how it works.

Kind Regards,
Csaba
