Text alignment in row

Hi,

Would like to ask whether i could adjust the text in my row (those in home page) to be in center and text aligned to left side?

Thanks and regards,
limpeek

Hi,

Is it through adjusting the paddling in the text widget?

Can i have larger upper and lower paddling but smaller left and right paddling?

Thanks and regards,
limpeek

Hello there,

Split your row into three columns. Put your text widget in the center. Please see this screenshot https://cloudup.com/cfGJPa1ViDe for the sake of visual.

I hope this reply helps.

Hi Kharis,

I roughly got what i want through adjusting the paddling in the text widget.

But when i view the mobile version, the text in the front page is at the left side. Can i make it to the center?

Hope to hear from you soon.

@media only screen and (max-width:780px){

  #pg-8-0,
  #pg-8-1,
  #pg-8-3,
  #pg-8-4{
    text-align: center;

Hello there,

Thank you for the screenshot. It helped me a lot. Try to use this code:

@media only screen and (max-width:780px){

  #pg-8-0 .widget_text,
  #pg-8-1 .widget_text,
  #pg-8-3 .widget_text,
  #pg-8-4 .widget_text{
    text-align: center !important;
  }

}

You would clear your web browser’s cache before reloading your site.

Hello! I’m having the same issue except the opposite! My site is finitive.com.au, and the layout is perfect on mobile but the left and right padding is not equal on desktop. Could you have a look please and tell me how to adjust this? I’ve tried everything but can’t find a solution. I dont want to make my text center aligned, I just want to make my left and right padding equal on all pages on desktop

Thank you

Hello @elleynott,

Let’s start from the first row “Submit your documents online”. Could you please try to apply the following CSS code through the Simple Custom CSS plugin or child theme’s style.css or page settings of Visual Composer editor?

@media only screen and (min-width:992px){

  .vc_custom_1464260696899{
    padding-left: 25% !important;
    padding-right: 25% !important;
  }

}

Let me know how it goes. I’ll wait to hear back from you regarding your stats.

Kharis

Hello there,

Different languages are considered different pages with different element IDs as well. So you have to replicate the code with ID adjustment.
