Testimonials not sliding

Hi,
I have the Rocked theme installed and imported the settings from the demo site.
I have added my own testimonials in the correct section but they are not sliding for one to the other its just sitting on one testimonial and you have to manually click to get to the next.

I cannot see anywhere where i can set it to slide

I hope you can help

Thanks

Hello there,

Some other JS script from one of your plugins might interfere its behavior. Please try to disable all of the non-required plugins. Once you get it works fine, activate the plugins one by one to check which one is possibly the source of the problem.

Hi,
Thanks for this, i have tried disabling each plugin one by one and none of them fix it.
Is there anything else i can do?

The website in question is www.jdhotelfurniture.co.uk

Thanks

Hello there,

Thank you for updating me. I am taking another look and will update you ASAP.

Sorry for I wrote too soon. The testimonials doesn’t slide automatically by default. You need to edit the theme’s main JS script.

  1. Edit the js/main.js file
  2. Find the below code block:

var testimonialCarousel = function(){
    if ( $().owlCarousel ) {
        $(".roll-testimonials").owlCarousel({
            navigation : false,
            pagination: true,
            responsive: true,
            items: 1,
            itemsDesktop: [3000,1],
            itemsDesktopSmall: [1400,1],
            itemsTablet:[970,1],
            itemsTabletSmall: [600,1],
            itemsMobile: [360,1],
            touchDrag: true,
            mouseDrag: true,
            autoHeight: true,
            autoPlay: false
        });
    }
};

Change this line: autoPlay: false to autoPlay: true

  1. Copy all of the code
  2. Open the js/main.min.js file and remove all of the code, and then paste into there
  3. Minify it by using this tool: https://jscompress.com/
  4. Update to your server through either FTP or cPanel’s file manager

Thanks,
I will give that a try and let you know how i get on

Just a quick question, do i need to save the changes to the main.js file, or is it just the main.min.js file i am going to change?

Thanks

Hi again, i have got it working thanks, the code fixed it

Thanks

Excellent! You figured it out. As the main script which is loaded on the site is main.min.js, the changes must be applied to this file.

Let me know in a new topic if you need anything else.
