Testimonial widget: how to turn off "see all testimonials" script

The “See all testimonials” script link doesn’t load on each testimonials entry/page on my site (see bottom of frontpage), and I’d like to replace that link w/ one to a static page w/ all my testimonials (we have 50+), anyway.

I tried messing w/ the widget php file, but only screwed it up.

Appreciate your help!

Hi,

Do you created a new page with all your testimonials? Please post a link to that, so I can check.

Best Regards,
Csaba

Here’s my static page w/ testimonials: http://school4schools.com/about/testimonials/

I want a link to it underneath the SweetHeat testimonials widget on my site front page (see at bottom of frontpage).

Hi, Csaba, hoping to fix this issue (and thanks so much for help on my trouble w/ Page Builder Row Styles!).

To clarify, I just want to replace the popup-link at the bottom of Testimonials widget with one to a static page. It’d be nice to do this in such as way that the widget doesn’t load the script for the popup “see all” as currently set.

Thanks!

Hi,

You can add the link in theme’s folder / widgets / fp-testimonials.php, line 108, this code:

<a href="#0" class="view-more show-for-medium-up"><?php echo __('See all testimonials', 'sweetheat'); ?></a>

replace “#0” with the link to your testimonials page: “http://school4schools.com/about/testimonials/

so it should look like this:

<a href="http://school4schools.com/about/testimonials/" class="view-more show-for-medium-up"><?php echo __('See all testimonials', 'sweetheat'); ?></a>

Best Regards,
Csaba

Thanks, Csaba. I had to remove the entire “see all” code in order to remove the popup behavior. As such I put the link to my page as a separate button, so that works.

Appreciate your help!

Hi,

Great! You’re most welcome! I’m glad it’s resolved. If you need help with anything else, please, feel free to open a new topic.

Have a nice day!

Best Regards,
Csaba
