Testimnial slider - can I make it slide automatically?

Hi! I am using Rocked Pro on this site: Blackbird Frame. In the tesimonial slider at the top, is there a way to make the testimonials slide automatically? Or possibly a way to add arrows instead of the buttons/circles at the bottom?

Thanks in advance.

Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us here.

To enable auto-play on the testimonial slider, try to do the following steps, please:

  1. Edit the js/main.js file
  2. Find this line:

var testimonialCarousel = function(){
    if ( $().owlCarousel ) {
        $(".roll-testimonials").owlCarousel({
            navigation : false,
            pagination: true,
            responsive: true,
            items: 1,
            itemsDesktop: [3000,1],
            itemsDesktopSmall: [1400,1],
            itemsTablet:[970,1],
            itemsTabletSmall: [600,1],
            itemsMobile: [360,1],
            touchDrag: true,
            mouseDrag: true,
            autoHeight: true,
            autoPlay: false
        });
    }
};

  1. Change autoPlay value to true. The code will look like this:

var testimonialCarousel = function(){
    if ( $().owlCarousel ) {
        $(".roll-testimonials").owlCarousel({
            navigation : false,
            pagination: true,
            responsive: true,
            items: 1,
            itemsDesktop: [3000,1],
            itemsDesktopSmall: [1400,1],
            itemsTablet:[970,1],
            itemsTabletSmall: [600,1],
            itemsMobile: [360,1],
            touchDrag: true,
            mouseDrag: true,
            autoHeight: true,
            autoPlay: true
        });
    }
};

  1. Copy all of the code in the js/main.js file, then paste into js/main.min.js file which is loaded on the theme. Then minify it using this tool https://javascript-minifier.com/

  2. Save changes, then upload

thank you for your response, Kharis.
However, I am using the wordpress dashboard and don’t see the js file that you describe, nor do I know how to upload a file there.

Is there a php file that I can edit, or css code, please?

Dear Claire,

You must manually edit those files locally on your PC. Unzip the theme package you downloaded, then open those on code editor application like Atom editor. Then upload them using FTP or file manager of cPanel.
