Talon blog widget - button instead of text to "see all our news"

Hi there Athemes

Using free Talon theme and Talon blog widget. Is there any way to change the text link to “See all our news” to a nice button?

Within Edit mode it says" Add the text for the button here if you want to change the default See all our news" but it isn’t actually displayed as a button - it looks rather sad as simple text!

Thanks so much

Bibs

Hello Bibs,

I tried it with my local site and it looks the option works correctly.

Probably your site has active caching that wont’ load last changes have made. You should have to flush it whenever did editing or addition.

Hi Kharis

Thanks for your response however you misunderstood my question. I was asking whether it was possible to have a button rather than text displayed for the “+more posts” link?

If not, is it possible to remove that link entirely so I can manually add a button i.e. remove the default “See all our news”?

Thanks again

Bibs

Hello Bibs,

Try doing the below steps:

  1. Install and activate the TC Custom JavaScript plugin
  2. Go To Appearance > Custom JavaScript
  3. Paste the following code into the provided box
    jQuery(function($) {

      if( $('.athemes_blog_widget .blog-button a').length ) {
        $('.athemes_blog_widget .blog-button a').addClass('button');
      }

    });
  1. Update
