Sydney theme image background (Row) is not responsive to mobile devices

I am having trouble with Sydney theme background not responsive to mobile devices

  • The background image of the row, not a header image.

Background image (still image not a video) doesn’t change the size responsively. It’s heavily zoomed-in and shows up very large, and cropped in the middle instead of shrinking down to the mobile screen size.

I researched quite a lot also I have read followings.
But I cannot see the answer to it.

I look forward to hearing from your view on this.

Thanks,

Hello Tom,

I’ve just checked the website, but I see only video background there and no image backgrounds. Can you please provide some explanatory screenshots?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hello Roman,

Thank you, Roman.
This is the direct link to the page that has a background image problem on the mobile device.
http://77.104.149.108/~tomkata6/contact/
If you check this link on the mobile device, you will see how the image is zoomed in and cropped in the middle.
I wondered, If there is any additional CSS to shrink the image down to fit on the mobile screen, it will be really great…

I looked at this previous post: Background image in Sydney not Fullwidth
And tried plugin and CSS , but it didn’t work.
So I might have missed out something or I might need to try the other way.
If you could advuse me, it would be amazig.

Thank you,
Tom

Hello Tom,

You can try to use SiteOrigin Image widget there instead of SiteOrigin Editor widget, and see if it helps.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,

Thank you for your reply.
I tried to use image widget, and I found that it worked!!
It took time to realise I actually needed to set manually, but I managed to resise the image on the mobile now.
Thank you ever so much for your help!!

Tom

Great! You are welcome Tom!

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have in future.

Kind Regards, Roman.
