Sydney: Social Profile Widget is not showing up

Hi,

I am trying to use Social Widget, but it’s not showing up. Could you please help me with this?

This is my website: www.brocadeworld.com

Thank you

Actually, all the widgets are not working. I have downloaded Toolset plugin, but it’s still the same.

Hello Kevin,

Did you check Sydney Documentation here?
https://athemes.com/documentation/sydney/

Please let me know if you need more help.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Yes, I did. Now, only the Sydney: Social Profile is not working. I did create the new menu and put it into all the widgets. However, it’s still showing up white space. Please advise

Thank you

Hello Kevin,

I have just inspected your Sydney FP: Social Profile widget and it looks like you didn’t add links.

Can you please add links to your social menu items and see if it helps?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Got it. Thank you so much

I did put the link, the widgets still do not appear in the footers.

Could you please check on it one more time?

Thank you so much

Hello Kevin,

I do see three social icons now, for every menu item.

Can you please try to clear your browser cache and check again?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Yes, I see them now. But it is really difficult to see it because they has the same color with the footer. How can I change the color for this widget?

Thank you so much

Hello Kevin,

Please try to use the following CSS code in order to make icons in footer social widget white.

You can add CSS code to your site with Simple Custom CSS plugin (just copy CSS code and paste it in Dashboard → Appearance → Custom CSS after installing and activating the plugin). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

#sidebar-footer .widget_fp_social a::before {
    color: white;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thank you, it’s perfect. I am really happy with your support. Thank you so much. However, if I would like to change the color into gold, how could I change the code in case I need it?

You are welcome Kevin!

Just replace color: white; with color: gold;.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thank you, one more question, the social widget in the footer is not aligned with the title. How could I do it?

Hello Kevin,

Please add this CSS code as well:

div.menu-social-media-container > ul.social-menu-widget {
    margin-left: -10px;
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thank you

You are welcome Kevin,

And have a nice day :slight_smile:

Kind Regards, Roman.
