Sydney Menu Question

Hi guys,

Used the theme since September and can honestly say its got everything I’ve wanted. Any issues I’ve had have either been resolved here or I’ve managed to resolve it myself its that good.

I do have a question as a novice though.

The menu list, dependent on the image used for the slider is difficult to identify / see. I can change the font / colour etc however is there a way of placing a “box” around it, allowing the menu to be highlighted further?

Many Thanks for the help and Happy New Year!

I used this Custom CSS that was provided as an answer to my question. It doesn’t box each menu item but puts one box around all of them. The code at the end ads some shading which makes it easier to read.

/* Make menu names in blocks; from the net /
#mainnav {
padding: 1em 2em;
background: transparent -moz-linear-gradient(center bottom , #D2BD2F 0%, #DBCA59 100%) repeat scroll 0% 0%;
border-width: 8px;
border-style: solid;
-moz-border-top-colors: none;
-moz-border-right-colors: none;
-moz-border-bottom-colors: none;
-moz-border-left-colors: none;
border-image: none;
border-color: #C7B22B #BEAB29 #B29F27;
color: #000 !important;
border-radius: 1.25em;
box-shadow: 0px 1px 0px rgba(255, 255, 255, 1.0) inset, 0px 1px 2px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.67);
/
text-shadow: 0px 1px 0px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.05); */
text-shadow: 0px 4px 3px rgba(0,0,0,0.4),
0px 8px 13px rgba(0,0,0,0.1),
0px 18px 23px rgba(0,0,0,0.1);
}

Thanks mate, I’ll try it out tomorrow.

Thanks again!
