Sydney FP CTA Widget - click to open a popup form

Hi,

I love the Sydney theme, and I have created a one-page website. In one particular section, I use the Sydney FP CTA widget. Though I have done a lot of research, I can’t figure out how to use the CTA button in the widget to link to a popup I have created with Popup Maker. My goal is for visitors to my site to click on this CTA button about halfway down my page, and once they click, that brings up a small popup form where they can request a quote for services.

This is my site: http://maloneconsultingonline.com/
Scrolling down you’ll see the button: Let’s talk to get a quote.
Currently, I just put in my email address for the “link for the button” in the widget.

In the “link for the button,” can I use a hashtag or similar to point to the popup form? Or is there a JavaScript (jQuery) solution?

Any help would be appreciated.

Dave

Hello Dave,

Please check these Popup Maker documentation pages:
http://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/141-triggers
http://docs.wppopupmaker.com/article/144-trigger-click-open

Then you can try to use Text widget instead of Sydney FP: Call to action widget in order to add unique button ID or class.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi, Roman,
Thanks much. I am still struggling.

On my home page at MaloneConsultingOnline.com, I have a second CTA button.
My custom JS is:

<script>
    jQuery(document).ready(function(){
        jQuery('a.roll-button.button-slider').after(jQuery('<a href="mailto:maloneconsultingwp@gmail.com" class="roll-button button-slider">Contact Dave</a>'));
    });
</script>

Instead of sending visitors to my email, I’d love to send them to a popup of my Contact Form, but I can’t seem to accomplish it despite various attempts with Popupmaker and Hustle. Can you offer advice to point me in the right direction?

Many thanks,
Dave

Hello,

I see that the topic is old, but I checked the site and saw that the issue is still not resolved. Anyway, it looks like this issue requires close inspection, this goes beyond our support policy. As an option, you can contact Codeable for this kind of service, or find a reputable freelancer on Upwork.

Kind Regards, Roman.
