Sub sub menu position after theme and wp update

Hello, I just updated the theme Sydney and the new Wordpress version 5.7 and had problems with the Menu - the 2nd level dropdown no longer dropped down to the right or left of the initial dropdown menu instead the 2nd level dropdown appeared within the initial dropdown corrupting it (as can be seen on the site www.confiserie-bachmann.ch under the menu point “Produkte” > “Basler Läckerli”.)

I have now solved most of this problem using the following css code :

    #mainnav .sub-menu {
      left: 0 !important;
    }
    #mainnav .sub-menu .sub-menu {
      left: 100% !important;
    }

However I do still have one problem - the sub sub menu has a margin of approx 10 pixels below the initial top border of the sub sub menu. (this can be seen on the site www.confiserie-bachmann.ch under the menu point “Produkte” > “Basler Läckerli”.)

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Hi,

Can you share a link to your website’s needing help here, so I can try, inspect the problem, and suggest you with the possible solution?

Same problem here. Thx Tim for the additional CSS code that at least lets the menus unfold to the right again.

Check out the Services>Photography submenu on this page (Tims CSS already implemented):

Cheers, Timo

Hi Timo,

Try this CSS code:

    #mainnav .sub-menu {
      left: 0 !important;
    }
    #mainnav .sub-menu .sub-menu {
      left: 100% !important;
      padding-top: 0 !important;
    }
