Stop header slider (one image)

Is there any way to stop the header slider - so that it shows only one image all the time, with no transition effect?

I tried simply removing all images except the first one in my header slider, but then I still get a transition effect.

Hello there,

Remove your second slider. Then do these steps to make the first one static:

  1. Install and activate the TC Custom JavaScript plugin
  2. Go To Appearance > Custom JavaScript
  3. Paste the following code into the provided box
    ;(function($) {

       'use strict'

       $('#slideshow').superslides('stop');
       

    })(jQuery);

4 . Update
