#1

how can I have the sticky menu? and the position menu on bottom?

#2

Hi,

Please post a link to your website, so I can check how that can be done there.

Just to clarify: Do you want the sticky menu on the bottom of your browser window, right?

Hi, I’d like it to work like in this website connessionelatina.com, is it possible?

#4

well, some update about my custom menu. I am using a plugin for sticky menu and it works good!
But now how I move the menu bar to bottom of the header? ( sticky menu must remain on the top)

Hi,

You can have the sticky menu positioned bottom with this Custom CSS:

.header.header-sticky .header-inner {
    top: auto !important;
    bottom: 0 !important;
}

Please add the above CSS to your Child Theme’s style.css or in case you haven’t setup a Child Theme already, then you can also add the CSS to wp-admin -> Appearance -> Customizer -> Additional CSS so you won’t loose the changes after Theme or WordPress updates.

Please let me know how it works.

Csaba

Thanks Csaba I would like to have bar menu on bottom of the header and sticky menu on top (see connessionelatina.com). My sticky menu already works with a plugin, but I cannot move the menu bar on the bottom

my test site is here: client11.byethost22.com/

Hi,

Please deactivate the maintenance mode, so I can check your site, I first checked the connessionelatina.com, so I thought the changes you want to make there.

Hi,

You can move the menu below the site-branding by moving this code from header.php line 56:

<nav id="site-navigation" class="main-navigation" role="navigation">
			<button class="menu-toggle"><i class="fa fa-bars"></i></button>
			<?php wp_nav_menu( array( 'theme_location' => 'primary' ) ); ?>
		</nav><!-- #site-navigation -->

below this code to line 69:

<div class="site-branding">
			<?php if ( get_theme_mod('site_logo') ) : ?>
				<a href="<?php echo esc_url( home_url( '/' ) ); ?>" title="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?>"><img class="logo-image" src="<?php echo esc_url(get_theme_mod('site_logo')); ?>" alt="<?php bloginfo('name'); ?>" /></a>
			<?php else : ?>
				<h1 class="site-title"><a href="<?php echo esc_url( home_url( '/' ) ); ?>" rel="home"><?php bloginfo( 'name' ); ?></a></h1>
				<h2 class="site-description"><?php bloginfo( 'description' ); ?></h2>
			<?php endif; ?>
		</div>

Please let me know how it works.

Csaba
