Sticky menu on mobile device

Hello,
I am using a sticky menu.

After pressing the hamburger-menu button on a mobile device the menu items themselves are being shown. These items cover most of the mobile-screen. After pressing one of the menu items the pages scrolls to the appropriate section.
So far so good.

Question: After scrolling, the menu items page keeps covering most of the screen.
Is there a way to stop showing the menu items after a menu-item has been selected (so just show the hamburger menu button after the menu-item has been selected)?

Kind Regards,
Ryan

Any one?

Hi,

Looks like this issue can be resolved by modifying javascript file. Please open “js/main.js” file and add this line:
if(('#mainnav-mobi').length) (’#mainnav-mobi’).hide();

After:

$('html,body').animate({
    scrollTop: target.offset().top - 70
}, 1000);

Then, open functions.php and change this line:
wp_enqueue_script( 'sydney-main', get_template_directory_uri() . '/js/main.min.js', array('jquery'),'', true );

to:
wp_enqueue_script( 'sydney-main', get_template_directory_uri() . '/js/main.js', array('jquery'),'', true );

thanks !
