Sticky Menu not staying at top when scrolled?

Hi Kharis,

I have just found that my top menu is no longer sticky. It stays on the top of the page when scrolling? It is set to sticky on my customise settings? Is this due to the header upgrade recently?

Also, it’s quite small in font size, can this be made bigger?

Thanks, Paul

Hello Paul,

First thanks for using our theme!

Probably that’s the reason, since the structure of new header changed a bit. Could you please share your website link/URL with us? So we can do a inspection, see how your header is structured and then, send the best solution to you.

Kind Regards,

Rodrigo.

Hello Paul,

Thanks for the link!

The custom code below at Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS is doing the sticky header not work:

image

You can simply remove this custom code. But probably there’s some reason for this code, right? So if you want to keep the code, please try adding the given custom CSS code below:

@media(min-width: 1025px) {
    .sticky-header.sticky-always {
        position: fixed;
        width: 100%;
    }
}

We hope this helps!

Please try that and let us know if you need further assistance.

Kind Regards,

Rodrigo.

Hey Rodrigo,

This works great.

Also, I mentioned in the first post the font size for the menu.

it’s quite small in font size, can this be made bigger, for me to try different sizes?

Regards,

Paul

We’re glad that you got the code works for you.

Try adding this CSS code:

    #mainnav ul li a {
      font-size: 18px;
    }

Hope that helps.

Hey Kharis,

That works great, but?

I have just noticed that the menu has small down arrows, that I had in before you gave me CSS to put them in?

I have looked at my menu, and can’t find the arrows to take out?

Where are they?

Thanks

Hello Paul,

You can remove the arrows by adding the given custom CSS code below at Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS:

#masthead .dropdown-symbol {
    display: none !important;
}

We hope this helps!

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Hi Rodrigo,

Thanks for this.

I didn’t make myself very clear, it’s not the character ‘dropdown-symbol’ it’s the icon arrow as per the image attached.

Thanks for your time,

Hello Paul,

Thanks for the screenshot!

However, I couldn’t see that arrow here:

Which browser (chrome/safari/firefox) and operational system (mac/windows) you are using?

Hey Rodrigo,

It was on the customise theme page, but has gone now. Must have been in my cache, which I have cleared now?

Thanks, Paul

Hello Paul,

You are welcome!

Yes, probably the issue was caching. Great that’s resolved now!

Let us know if you need further help.

Kind Regads,

Rodrigo.
