SOCIAL MENU on Mobile Site Area Control

I recently obtained code from Support to manage the Social Menu on the mobile site. It works perfectly, but it only works for the Home Page.

The Social Menu on the Site Pages is still publishing with the default settings and is taking up too much area.

Thank you very much!

Working on WWEL.org

Hello there,

I am sorry, I didn’t get where the issue appears on. Could you please share the related page link? If possible, take a screenshot of the issue and share it here, so I can be more exact.

Kharis

Sure Kharis, thank you. Everything in this support request is only pertaining to the Mobile version of the website.

On the front page:

http://wwel.org

The pre-header (or Contact Info & Social Menu area) are at a controlled size. The margins and line spacing are being controlled with the following code:

@media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) {
.has-hero .header-contact {
padding-top: 3px;
padding-bottom: 3px;
}
.has-hero .header-contact .social-links {
margin-top: 0;
}
}

However, on other pages, like:

http://wwel.org/by2028

The pre-header (Contact Info & Social Menu) are at the default setting for margins and line spacing.

It is too big on the Site Pages. On wwel.org/by2020

Is there one line of code that will work for every page? By chance? Or a separate line of code for the Site Pages?

Thank you very much. You can see this in the attachments.

Hello there,

It looks like .has-hero selector in custom CSS code only affects on home page. Try replacing your code with this one.

    @media only screen and (max-width: 1024px) {
      .header-contact {
        padding-top: 3px;
        padding-bottom: 3px;
      }
      .header-contact .social-links {
        margin-top: 0;
      }
    }

Kharis

Thank you very much, Kharis. It works!

I am adding this code for all my Sydney Pro sites. I think it is a
better default setting for future updates to the theme. Less is more.

Sincerely,

Dan
