Slider but not full screen

#1

Is it correct that i can have a full screen slider but i can not make a slider with a height of 500px?

Hello @knireis,

Yes, by default you can have a full screen slider but you can’t change its height using theme functionality.

For your information:

  • you can change height when you use image instead of slider (you can configure it in Appearance -> Customize);
  • you can change height of your slider directly with some custom CSS, but in that case you will have to make sure that it will look good on all screen resolutions.

I really hope that it will help you

Best Regards, Roman.

Thanks, but if i use image i can not have a slider, that is a pity.
I tried all kinds of css selectors to set the height but no luck sofar.

Well, changing the slider from responsive state back to fixed requires some coding and testing, so this goes beyond our support policy. It’s considered advanced customization.

As an option, you can contact Codeable for this kind of service.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have in future.

Best Regards, Roman.

I understand.
Will it work in the pro version with crelly slider? And i need the menu to be in the slider area, just like with the image only in the free version.

Actually, yes. Crelly Slider allows you to set the height of the slider easily in settings. Also menu can be in the top of the slider area.

I hope that it will help you.

Kind Regards, Roman.
