I just want to tell you that i love your theme.
Is it possible to change the size of the sidebar ?
I created some form with my old theme but the sidebar is too narrow.
Thank you

Hello Marie,

I will be glad to help you, but can you please provide a link to your website?

If it is not possible to change the size of the sidebar, can you tell me the maximum size so that images are not overwritten ?
Thank you very much !
Kind Regards

Okay Marie,

Thank you for the link :slight_smile:

Please try to use the following CSS code to make the sidebar wider on that particular page.

You can add CSS code to your site with Simple Custom CSS plugin (just copy CSS code and paste it in Dashboard -> Appearance -> Custom CSS after installing and activating the plugin). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

.page-id-767 #secondary {
    width: 35% !important;
}

.page-id-767 #primary {
    width: 65% !important;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

It is magic !!! :slight_smile: THANK YOU !!
Can I duplicate this code (just by changing the ID page),
for that the other pages have the largest sidebar too ?

Sorry for my english !
Kind Regards, Marie

I managed to change all the pages.
Thank you, you’re awesome !!
Also I have two final questions:

1 / Have you a code to reduce the space between the “row” (on the home page)?
Because it implies that visitors must scroll a lot for to see informations.

2 / Also, if you have a code to reduce the text blocks of forms?
Because they are really big height.
For example, my form on the sidebar have very big grey texte blocks.

Thanks again.
Kind regards,
Marie

Hello Marie :slight_smile:

  1. Looks like you have already reduced the space between rows.

  2. Please try this CSS code to reduce the width of form’s input fields in your sidebar:

#af-body-853091332 input[type="text"] {
    height: 30px;
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thank you for your reply.
1 / Yes, I had found the solution in the meantime.
2 / Thank you, it works perfectly.

Really thank you for your patience.
You are very responsive and professional, it’s really appreciated.

I do have one final question (this will be really the last :)! )
On the model of Sydney, here:
http://demo.athemes.com/themes/?theme=Sydney

There is a section “WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT OUR COMPANY? CURIOUS WHAT ELSE WE DO?” with a button.
To build the same, I put a row with two columns with the “Call to Action” widget on the right. But for the text to the left, the widget “Text” is not at all the same. It is configured or it is another widget?

Thank you again very much.
Kind Regards,
Marie

Hello Marie,

That’s okay, you can ask your questions, I’m here to help you :slight_smile:

This is one widget, it is called Sydney FP: Call to action.

Have a nice day :slight_smile:

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,
It works perfectly
Thank you very much for all your help.

So i have another question :slight_smile:
I would like change the titles size, but if i do tests, it will take hours…
Do have some descriptions to know what is H1, H2 …H6 font size in the theme?

Thank you again !
Kind Regards,
Marie

Okay Marie,

You can change your font sizes by going to your Dashboard -> Appearance -> Customize -> Fonts -> scroll to Font sizes section -> change some sizes -> click Save & Publish.

You can check whether your title is H1, H2, H3, etc. by doing a right click on the title, select Inspect element, and see which tag is title wrapped in.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Okey thank you Roman, i see.

Is it possible to remove the publication date
1/ within articles?
2/ And when we go in category too ?

Kind Regards, Marie

Yes Marie, it is possible to remove the publication date.

  1. Within articles:
.single-post .posted-on {
    display: none;
}
  1. In category:
.category .posted-on {
    display: none;
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thank you very much Roman.

Regarding the size of the sidebar, it becomes small in the articles.
For example: http://kiwi-gym.com/warp-avocat-poivron/
Is there a code to change the sidebar on the entire site?

Thanks again.
Kind regards,

Well, please try this:

#secondary {
    width: 35% !important;
}

#primary {
    width: 65% !important;
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,

It works perfectly for the sidebar.

The size of form’s text blocs in the sidebar,
with this code is ok :
#af-body-853091332 input[type=“text”] {
height: 30px;
}

But for the forms in other place, like in the end of the post or for a lightbox,
the size on height is not change.
Do you have a code for changing all the form’s text blocks ?

Thank you so much for your enderstanding.
Kind Regards,

Hello Marie,

Please try to use CSS code below instead of the code that you mentioned in the post above.

input[type="text"] {
    height: 30px !important;
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,
This code creates an offset of all content on the home
and that makes the forms disappear at the end of the articles.
So I could not leave it. Let me know if you have another idea of code.
Thank you a lot.
Kind Regards,
