SiteOrigin Consultant Layout

#1

I’m trying to get my site to look like SiteOrigin’s consultant layout, but can’t figure out how to:

  • hide the header/menu bar
  • make the hero image full width

Any suggestions?

Hi,

Add thic CSS code below to hide the menu bar:

.sticky-wrapper {
    display: none;
}

The hero image is display full width in default. Do you have any issue for the hero image in your site?

Awan

Thank you awan!

That CSS works but the header briefly flashes before being hidden

This page uses the original Consultant pre-built layout with the Template set to Front Page and the hero is not being displayed full width. If I set the Template to Full Width, I get the same results

Hi,

Can you activate the hero slider on this page while I am checking it?

#5

It already is… it’s an untouched version of the Consultant layout

Thanks,

I’ve checked the page and I noticed that you are not using hero slider from the customizer, instead you are using page builder widget to replace the default hero slider, is it correct?

So, to resolve the issue, please add this CSS code to Customizer > additional CSS:

div#panel-190-0-0-0 {
    margin-left: 0;
    margin-right: 0;
    width: 100%;
    max-width: 100%;
    padding-left: 0;
    padding-right: 0;
}

Instead of adding the CSS, I removed the hero image from the page builder widget and made it the background image for the row
