Site menu covering up internal pages

Hi there!

I had this same issue with the front page where the black site logo/menu section at the top is covering up a portion of the page in full-screen mode. Example: http://infituated.com/thanksgiving-game-plan-stay-in-same-size-pants/

When the screen isn’t in full screen, it looks fine, but when expanded the black logo covers up the first portion of the blog post/other internal pages.

How can I resolve this?

Thanks in advance :slight_smile:

Hi there,

Header setting allow user to set menu background color which will be applied on sticky header type - upon scroll, but you placed custom css code in order to set background color initially http://screencast.com/t/U9KnlmMFxz . That is ok, but you should target home page separately in order to remove it since home page is using slider and it would be good to show it to your visitors so add following custom css code in order to set initial header for your home page to be transparent and upon scroll to change it to dark color:

.home .site-header.fixed {
    background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.0);
}

.home .site-header.float-header {
    background-color: rgba(0,0,0,0.9);
}

regarding inner pages, simply increase page wrapper from Appearance > Customize > General to maybe 200 http://screencast.com/t/dg6Sr1M44h8

Best Regards!
