SIte Logo instead of branding

Hi, I may be missing something obvious, but I can’t seem to get my site logo to display? I understood that the logo would display by default if uploaded and show site branding instead if none uploaded, but mine just shows Site branding all the time?

Hello there,

Currently there is setting from customizer to display a logo to replace the site title on main header area.

But, you can use the below CSS code to add into Additional CSS under the Appearance menu > Customize.

    .site-branding .site-title a {
      display: block;
      width: 450px;
      height: 190px;
      margin-left: auto;
      margin-right: auto;
      text-indent: -999999px;
      background-size: contain;
      background-repeat: no-repeat;
      background-position: center center;
      background-image: url('https://yoursite.com/path/to/your-image.png');
    }

Replace https://yoursite.com/path/to/your-image.png with your logo image file URL uploaded to media library (Dashboard > Media > Library).

I hope this custom CSS solution works for you. Let me know your views.

Thanks for that, however it only half worked. It has removed the site branding, but the site logo still does not show instead
