Site identity and menu background

Hello,
I would like to upload an image to the site identity and menu background, how can I do this with Custom Css.

Hello CarolD,

Can you please provide a link to your website, a link to the image that you want to use as a background, and some explanatory screenshots?

You can upload screenshots to your WordPress Media Library and share a link, or you can use one of the online services (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hello Roman,
This is my website, there’s a image of a city under my menu and the background of this image has a noise, i would like to upload a image with that same noise in my site identity and menu background, so it won’t look different like this

Hello CarolD,

All three links seem to be broken, can you please check them?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Sorry Roman, my website is just for local conection and I haven’t noticed.
This is how my website looks right now. Notice the difference between the image noise and the site identity and menu background. This is the image with noise that I want to put on the background to look even.

Hello CarolD,

Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in DashboardAppearanceCustomizeAdditional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

header#header.site-header {
    background-image: url('http://example.com/');
    background-size: cover;
    background-repeat: no-repeat;
    background-color: #EEABAE;
}

Just replace http://example.com/ with a link to your image.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thank you Roman, worked just fine!

You are welcome CarolD! :slight_smile:

Kind Regards, Roman.
