Sidebar & Page Title

Dear all,

I’m currently using Sydney Free and upgraded to Sydney Pro.

Unfortunately, the layout upgrade has some problems. Can you help me out?

I have the following problems (as a new member I was only allowed to post one single screenshot):

  1. the frame of the sidebar disappears in the Pro version. How can I keep the light grey frame and center the content?

  2. the headlines in the sidebar should remain bold. Unfortunately they are thinned out in the Pro version.

  3. the page headings should remain bold. Unfortunately, they are thinned out in the Pro version.

  4. the headlines in general become thinner in the Pro version. Is there a way to keep the bold headlines from the free version?

Here’s the link to my homepage: https://real-financial-dynamics.com/

Thanks.

This screenshot is from the free version with the needed frame, centered content and bold titles:

I managed to add a border via CSS now and activated Sydney Pro. Seems fine so far…

Hello, try to use the following CSS code to make your titles bold.

You can add CSS code in Customize → Additional CSS section.

.content-area .entry-title,
.widget-area .widget-title {
    font-weight: 600;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Dear Roman,

the CSS code works great, thank you very much!

Is there a way to reduce the distance between two widgets (see Screenshot)?
The distance between the widgets in the free version was smaller and is a bit too large in the Pro version in my opinion.

Hello,

Try to add this CSS code as well:

.widget-area .widget {
    padding-top: 20px;
    margin-bottom: 20px;
}

Kind Regards, Roman.
