Show more than 3 employees

Hi there,

First of all, thank you for the awesome Sydney theme. One of the better WP themes I ever used.

At the moment, I am trying to show more employees on one page than the standard three. I tried several methods (as https://athemes.com/forums/topic/changing-number-of-projects-and-employees-displayed-on-front-page/ and https://athemes.com/forums/topic/showing-more-than-3-employees/), but it doesn’t work for my website. Is it possible to display more than 3 employees just by adding some custom CSS?

You can find my website on http://www.areyourprepared.be

Thanks in advance!

Hans

Dear Hans,

Thank you for reaching out to us here.

The theme’s main script of the free version of Sydney is quite different with the pro one. Please try to do the following steps:

  1. Open the js/main.js in your code editor, then copy the whole content of it; then paste it into js/main.min.js. So it will be more readable

  2. Find the following code:

var teamCarousel = function(){
	if ( $().owlCarousel ) {
		$(".panel-grid-cell .roll-team").owlCarousel({
			navigation : false,
			pagination: true,
			responsive: true,
			items: 3,
			itemsDesktopSmall: [1400,3],
			itemsTablet:[970,2],
			itemsTabletSmall: [600,1],
			itemsMobile: [360,1],
			touchDrag: true,
			mouseDrag: true,
			autoHeight: false,
			autoPlay: false,
		}); // end owlCarousel
	} // end if
};

Change this line:

items: 3,
itemsDesktopSmall: [1400,3],

with:

items: 5,
itemsDesktopSmall: [1400,5],

The final code will look like this:

var teamCarousel = function(){
	if ( $().owlCarousel ) {
		$(".panel-grid-cell .roll-team").owlCarousel({
			navigation : false,
			pagination: true,
			responsive: true,
			items: 5,
			itemsDesktopSmall: [1400,5],
			itemsTablet:[970,2],
			itemsTabletSmall: [600,1],
			itemsMobile: [360,1],
			touchDrag: true,
			mouseDrag: true,
			autoHeight: false,
			autoPlay: false,
		}); // end owlCarousel
	} // end if
};

  1. You might want to minify this JS file here

  2. Save changes. Then update through FTP or cPanel

You would need to empty your web browser’s cache before reloading your site to see the code changes takes affect.

Kharis
