Show "last update" date on article

Hello,

When I update an article, I would like that the date of the update appear next to the date of publication (like this : “Update the XX/XX/XX | Published the XX/XX/XX”). At the moment, only the publication date appears.

How can I do this ?

Thank you for your help !

Enora

Hello Enora, try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in Customize → Additional CSS section.

div.entry-meta time.updated {
    display: inline;
}

div.entry-meta time.updated::before {
    content: 'Updated: ';
    margin-left: 10px;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hello Roman,

Thank you very much! It works perfectly!

In case I go back to update my article the next day to correct a typo for exemple, is there a way for this updated date to never appear within the first 10 days after the official publication ? Maybe by adding a function in the function.php of my child theme?

Thanks again.
Have a good day.

I don’t think that there is an easy way to do that, unfortunately. As an option, you can contact Codeable for this kind of service, or find a reputable freelancer on Upwork.

Kind Regards, Roman.
