Show blog posts as images not excerpts

Hi,

I would like to be able to arrange my blog posts in a tile view using an image from each of the posts, rather than showing excerpts as shown here.

Is there any way of doing this?

Thank you,

Dan

Hello Dan,

Please try to do the following.

  1. Please set a featured image for each of your posts and insert Read More tag before content of each post.

  2. Go to your DashboardAppearanceCustomizeBlog options → select Masonry (grid style) → click Save & Publish button.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thanks for that Roman.
Is there a way to make the featured images central on the actual post they are on? They seem to be formatted to the left of the page?

Thanks

Dan

Hello Dan,

I don’t see this issue neither in your posts nor on my localhost. Can you please provide a link to affected post in order to let me check it?

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,

Thanks for your response again, please find a link attached.

Thanks,

Dan

Hello Dan, thank you for the link.

Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in DashboardAppearanceCustomizeAdditional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

body.single-post div.single-thumb {
    width: 100%;
    text-align: center;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,

Thank you very much, all fixed!

Kind regards,

Dan

You are welcome Dan! And have a nice day :slight_smile:

Kind Regards, Roman.
