Shadow & font color to the slider text on the homepage

Hi,

How could I add more shadow to the slider text on the homepage & darken or change the font.

Thanks

Hello there,

Could you please try to apply the following CSS code through the Simple Custom CSS plugin or child theme’s style.css?

.text-slider .subtitle,
.text-slider .maintitle {
  text-shadow: 3px 3px 6px rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.9);
}

.text-slider .maintitle {
  font-family: Segoe UI,Frutiger,Frutiger Linotype,Dejavu Sans,Helvetica Neue,Arial,sans-serif;
}

.text-slider .subtitle {
  font-family: Arial Narrow,Arial,sans-serif;
}

Adjust the font family values to meet your need.

If you want to apply Google specifically for the slide title and subtitle, you would try the solution posted on this thread.

Hi Kharis,

it worked but the original Sydney font has been changed. Do you know the name of the slider text font of the Sydney theme?

Thanks

The default fonts for those two are:

.text-slider .maintitle {
font-family: “Raleway”, sans-serif;
}

.text-slider .subtitle {
font-family: “Source Sans Pro”, sans-serif;
}

Hi I have encountered one problem with the menu. It is not is one row even on large screens. Could you please help. Thanks

I guess you have so many menu items. I would like to provide a solution for it, but please open a new topic instead continuously discussing here since it doesn’t seem to relate with the current topic. By doing so, you will help us keeping this support forum well-archived and easier to read.
