Several issues

Hi,

I’m making a website with the theme Intro. My url: http://www.fadedevents.be. I have the following issues:

  • The background image of the slider is not visible on my iPhone or iPad
  • The text of the animated string “R&B” is shown as “R&B”. Can we arrange this?
  • I have built the site with SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, but the text of the titles is yellow underlined. How can I change the color of this yellow underlinings? I want it to be underlined in red.
  • When I center these titles, the underlings stay on the left. How can I make these also centered?

Hi Pablo,

  • I just checking your site and looks like the background image on the slider is working fine here.

  • There is function to escape the character of the text slider. you can remove the function in functions.php then remove “esc_textarea” on line 165. see pict http://prntscr.com/9ltoiy (I recommend you to modify the file through child theme)

  • And for the line under the title, I think the simple ways is to make the line to have full width not centered.
    and to make the underline has full width and red background, you can apply te following css code below:

.so-panel .widget-title:after, .panel .widget-title:after {
    width: 100%;
   background-color: red;
}

(you can put the css code above in your child theme)

Hi Awan,

  • Did you check the background image slider on iPad and iPhone, because it is not working on my devices.
  • A full with red line is not what I want, it doesn’t look good. Can you give me another solution? If possible, I even want to change the text color of the titles for some blocks.

Then, for the title underline, please try these css code instead:

Hi Awan,

still, like I said, the image slider is not visible on a real iPhone or iPad! Any idea why?

Also, this slider image is shown in the header on every page on my MacBook (for example the page faded events.be/vip), and this is not mentioned to be so. How can we arrange it to be only shown on the first page?

Can you please take a screenshot for the image slider and post it here?

My thought, your image resolution is too big, that’s why it doesn’t displayed as well.

Then, you can “Disable the header image and text on all pages except the front page” from customize > header area

You can also to implement these css code below to fix the header image:
