Setting Anchors in homepage

website: http://www.joeclohessymotorassessor.com/

When I click on any of the menu items, they won’t take me anywhere, with the exception of “Team”

I think the issue might be the anchor points are missing?

How can I add these back in to make the menu work?

Thanks
Mika

I have the same question, how can you create menu items to anchor to specific sections of the home page?

Hello Mika and Flash Turtle,

Hi Roman,

Thanks for the video. I’m not using widgets. I’m creating info boxes with the live composer plugin:

Is there another way to create the menu links to different sections or ‘rows’?

Hello Flash Turtle,

All you have to do is to create your menu items as custom links and use this link structure:

http://example.com/#section-id

Just replace http://example.com/ with your home page URL, and #section-id with the id of respective section.

You can find the id of an element by doing a right-click on it, select Inspect Element and find something like this:

<div id="pg-220-1" class="panel-grid"… - in this case, pg-220-1 is the id of a div element.

For more information you can refer to this guide.

I hope that it will help you.

Kind Regards, Roman.

In the video for setting anchors (g.) https://athemes.com/documentation/talon/ the jump is nicely scrolling. In my experience it’s a hard jump.
How can I make it animated (scrolling)?

Hello,

Please try to use this link structure: #section-id, instead of this: http://example.com/#section-id.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.
