Hello there,

Have you properly inserted your link into the “The URL for your button” field of the Services Type A widget?

Regards,
Kharis

Yes, I have but the url shows as

https://reborninaustralia.com/blog/

no matter what…

Junko

Hello there,

Thank you for the followup.

What will happen if you temporarily remove the latest news widget?

Regards,
Kharis

I have to make our site as maintenance mood.

I will give you the wordpress login and password to your email if you required.

Regards,

Junko

Nothing happens but would like it back with correct url link setup.

Hello there,

Please check the code which prints the services type A widget button in the widgets/fp-services-type-a.php file. Does the following code present near the bottom line?

<?php if ($see_all != '') : ?>
	<a href="<?php echo esc_url($see_all); ?>" class="roll-button more-button">
		<?php if ($see_all_text) : ?>
			<?php echo $see_all_text; ?>
		<?php else : ?>
			<?php echo __('See all our services', 'sydney'); ?>
		<?php endif; ?>
	</a>
<?php endif; ?>

Kharis

HI Kharis,

Yes, it is.

It calls https://reborninaustralia.com/blog/ somehow instead of https://reborninaustralia.com/pricing/

Is there any way that i can hardcoded?

Regards,

Junko

Hello Junko,

You can alter the default link which is problematic on your site (I don’t know why) with jQuery code. Please do the following steps:

  1. Install and activate the TC Custom JavaScript plugin
  2. Go To Appearance > Custom JavaScript
  3. Paste the following code into the provided box

jQuery(function($) {

  if( $('.widget_sydney_services_type_a').length ){

      var url = 'https://reborninaustralia.com/pricing/';

      $('.widget_sydney_services_type_a .more-button').attr('href', url);

  }

});

  1. Update

Dear Kharis
Hello again. I have a question about The URL for your button [In case you want a button below your services block] for Service Type A. With Demo content installed and after slider in the homepage, there is a Service Type A block and a button with this label “SEE SOME MORE SERVICES” and when i click on this button i moved on the next block in the same page. The URL for your button is filled by “#pg-220-1”. it seems this is the address of next row. but i can’t find this address definition ("#pg-220-1") for the next row. the next row is a Service Type B block. how and where we should set the row or block address like “#pg-220-1” for rows and other parts of the page?

thanks a lot

Hello there,

Technically, #pg-220-1 is called as an ID selector. Each row/section is attributed with a unique ID. You can find it with the help of your web browser’s inspector tool to inspect your site’s markup. On Firefox, right click and select Inspect Element. Then use your mouse pointer to get the code of your row/section. Please see this screencast which helps easier to understand.
