Second Row of Footer Widgets

#1

How would I add a second row of footer widgets? I want 2 rows of 4 widgets.

I want a menu then an image in each widget, but when I do that in one row of widgets, it looks weird when it goes responsive. It ends up with menu - image - menu - image, etc., instead of menu, menu, menu, menu, image, image, image, image.

Any idea how I would do this?

Hello,

I would be glad to help you, but can you please provide a link to your website first?

Hello, thank you for the link.

Try to use the following CSS code to stretch one widget to full footer width, install Page Builder by SiteOrigin plugin, and build your footer with its Layout Builder widget (you will be able to add two rows with four widgets in each row).

You can add CSS code in Customize → Additional CSS section.

#sidebar-footer .sidebar-column {
    width: 100%;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

I don’t want to use a page builder. I thought there might be a way to duplicate and change the variable names, etc to add a row, in the code in my child theme. I can work with code.

Or would it be easier to add a 4 column row within/just above the copyright footer area?

I was able to achieve what I wanted with a plugin making the second row.(Footer Mega Grid Columns).
