Search function in menu by CSS?

Hey guys. I got a question from a customer for a simple search function in the menu. Is there a easy way to apply this using css? We changed from Moesia pro to Sydney pro a while back and now they want search back… :see_no_evil:

All changes made to this site is by custom css so i really don´t want to be messing with child theme now.

Best regards
Henrik

Thanks, it works like a charm. The only issue i have customizing this is the green box shadow around the search text box. I can not seem to configure this away and i think this has something to do with the theme. Anyway to get around it? See attached screen shot… Best regards Henrik

Hello there,

Thank you for sharing the link.

Please try adding this CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

    .astm-search-menu input[type="text"],
    .astm-search-menu input[type="text"]:focus,
    .astm-search-menu input[type="text"]:active {
      outline: none;
    }

Let me know how it goes.

Stay safe.
Have an excellent day ahead :slight_smile:
