Resizing or removing logo on pages (not front)

#1

Hi,
Just before I start I am not experienced with code and really just learn through trial and error, I am a designer and this site is just an assignment (not involving code or design) so I’m sorry for my sloppy understanding and code.

So I have changed the position of the logo (in my own clumsy way) so that it is centred under the menu and the menu floats left. It works fine on the front page and I’ve adapted it so that it resizes properly with smaller screens. HOWEVER it doesn’t work on the other pages with the static header as the header is much smaller that the front and resizes differently.

Ideally I want the logo to just stay over the header image on these pages but I would be ok with it just being smaller on those pages or in a different position.

I’m sorry I hope this makes some sense!

and you can see the other page problem on

Thanks so much

Hello there,

Thank you for getting in touch here.

In order to achieve that objective, could you please try to add the following CSS code through the Simple Custom CSS plugin?

@media only screen and (max-width: 767px){

  .site-logo{
    max-width: 70%;
    height: auto;
  }

  .home .site-logo {
      max-width: 100% !important;
      max-height: 100% !important;
      margin-top: 30px !important;
  }

}

@media only screen and (max-width: 600px){

  .site-logo{
    max-width: 53%;
    height: auto;
    margin-top: -2px;
  }

}

@media only screen and (max-width: 500px){

  .site-logo{
    max-width: 34%;
    height: auto;
    margin-top: -2px;
  }

}

@media only screen and (max-width: 320px){
  .site-logo{
    max-width: 30%;
    height: auto;
    margin-top: -2px;
  }
}

Let me know how it goes. I’ll wait to hear back from you regarding your stats.

Regards,
Kharis

Perfect thanks so much! I tried that code before but I didn’t know the class for the home page. I’m such as idiot, .home just makes sense!

Thanks you so much for your help!
